Financial Support - University College Jersey (UCJ)

If you're planning to study for a higher education qualification at University College Jersey, you may be eligible for financial support through the Government of Jersey’s Student Finance scheme.

Student Finance provides funding to eligible Jersey-resident students studying on higher education or postgraduate professional qualification courses. This support can help cover tuition fees, living expenses, and course-related costs.

Eligibility for Funding

Your eligibility for financial support will depend on both your personal circumstances and the nature of the course. In general:

  • You must have been ordinarily resident in Jersey for at least five years immediately before 31 August of the year your course begins to qualify for a full grant.
  • If you have lived in Jersey for at least 12 months prior to 31 August but less than five years, you may still qualify if you or a parent/legal guardian hold Entitled residential status under Jersey law.

To check your eligibility and for full guidance on how to apply, please visit the Student Finance guidance and application page.
