What is the Governing Body

The Highlands College Governing Body consists of a mix of stakeholders including staff, students, local business leaders and members with particular areas of expertise such as finance, education or safeguarding.

The full governing body meet four times a year, whilst also attending additional sub-committee meetings to remain fully informed with regards the College performance and student outcomes.

They provide constructive challenge and expert advice to the Principal and senior leadership team to support the college to deliver our strategic aims and long term vision.
